You’ll be participating in socially distanced training sessions utilising CrossFit methodologies outlined below:

  • Good Nutrition: lays the molecular foundations for fitness and health.
  • Metabolic Conditioning: builds capacity in each of three metabolic pathways, beginning with aerobic, then lactic acid, and then phosphocreatine pathways.
  • Gymnastics: establishes functional capacity for body control and range of motion.
  • Weightlifting and Throwing: develop the ability to control external objects and produce power.
  • Sport: applies fitness in a competitive atmosphere with more randomised movements and skill mastery.

What to expect?

Workouts can be adjusted in weight, intensity, and certain mechanics to scale to the experience and fitness levels of any individual, be it a total fitness beginner or elite competitive CrossFitter. This is the reason this program gets acclaim from military personnel, professional athletes, Mothers, Fathers and Grandparents alike.

All of our CrossFit Training Sessions are coach-led and follow a structured lesson plan lasting roughly 60 minutes in duration and follow this basic structure:

A certified coach will give you the Workout of the Day (WOD) brief at the whiteboard explaining what the workout will entail, guide you through warming up, followed by movement instruction and demonstration for the workout. The Coach will supervise and correct any movement performed by you throughout the entire session and particularly during the workout. Moving well with appropriate intensity for each indivisual is of the utmost importance to Team CFL. Working hard, trying your best and having fun with the best Crew around you will make you hungry for more and get you to a fitness level you've never imagined.

We are located in Leixlip Village in the small Business Park at the end of Mill Lane. Take the right at the fire station and go straight to the end and take another right into the Business Park. Car Park is located to the left upon entering.

Working out at the gym can be challenging. But getting there shouldn't! CrossFit Leixlip is located near the N4 and easily accessible from all areas of Kildare, Dublin and Meath including Lucan, Leixlip, Maynooth, Straffan, Celbridge, Clane, Sallins, Naas, Clondalkin, Liffey Valley, Dunshaughlin, Dunboyne and lots more. Our members travel near and far to get the best out of their health and fitness. Intel and HP are located near by where we provide our services to many of their staff.
